LAS VEGAS, N.M., Dec. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives from Community 1st Bank Las Vegas, Southwest Capital Bank, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, as they present $40,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to MainStreet Las Vegas.
MainStreet Las Vegas will use the funds to support some of its existing programs, such as a project to renovate the historic downtown area, and for other administrative purposes.
FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in grants through its PGP this year. The program provides funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and community development.
