Alcatel-Lucent Features MyMedicalRecords PHR in Collaborative Presentation at CES

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Dec 21, 2012) - MMRGlobal, Inc. (OTCQB: MMRF) ("MMR") today announced that its patented MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record (PHR) will be featured in the ng Connect Telepresence collaboration being unveiled at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show January 8-11 in Las Vegas in the Alcatel-Lucent Booth #31412. The ng Connect Program is a multi-industry innovation program founded by Alcatel-Lucent (EURONEXT PARIS: ALU) (NYSE: ALU) that is comprised of more than 190 member companies including leading network, consumer electronics, application and content providers. MMRGlobal is a leading provider of Personal Health Records, MyEsafeDepositBox storage solutions and MMRPro document management and imaging systems for healthcare professionals.

According to Bob Lorsch, MMRGlobal CEO, "The fact that Personal Health Records are being featured for the second time in as many years in the Alcatel-Lucent ng Connect booth speaks volumes for the awareness of the PHR's importance to patients and providers. We look forward to demonstrating how MyMedicalRecords works in real-time by enabling the sharing of information between patient and doctor using the Alcatel-Lucent Telepresence collaboration suite."

Visitors to the Alcatel-Lucent booth will see a demo of the new connected user experience where the patient generates a report from a wellness application called MyVitaLink, which then is populated into his or her MyMedicalRecords Personal Health Record. The patient then sends a secure link to their doctor and engages with the doctor using Telepresence videotelephony. When the doctor clicks on the link, he is asked to authenticate with login and password and then the record opens directly in the secure MyMedicalRecords account so patient and doctor can both see the same information including data from other providers to enable delivery of coordinated care.

The opportunity to collaborate with Alcatel-Lucent's ng Connect Program and its more than 190 member organizations globally supports MMR's focus on improving the quality of healthcare while reducing costs based on its patented health IT technologies platformed with next generation broadband services. Because the MyMedicalRecords PHR can connect with any health IT product or service globally, being an ng Connect member displays the MyMedicalRecords and MMRPro products and services to potential strategic opportunities with other members. It also allows MMR the opportunity of integrating and selling other members' products and services to the Company's customers.
