ePrize Campaign Wins HOW Design Award

ePrize-Powered, Interactive Infographic Recognized for Excellence in Website Design and Development

PLEASANT RIDGE, MI--(Marketwire - Jan 22, 2013) - Cigna's "Health Care Reform For YOU," a project developed by ePrize, Inc., was chosen as an award-winning design in the most recent HOW Interactive Design Awards. This highly selective and well-regarded competition sponsored by HOW magazine recognizes outstanding creative work produced by individuals and creative agencies from around the world.

In collaboration with ePrize, Cigna launched this interactive infographic campaign to provide Americans with key answers to their questions about health care reform, preparing them for 2014 when all Americans will be required to have health insurance. The law is very complex, and many consumers don't even know how to start looking for the information that will be relevant to them. By visiting Cigna's program, consumers are asked to answer a series of questions and are then presented with a customized result to help learn how the new health care reform law will personally affect them. The results give consumers a starting point to better understand the biggest impacts. Consumers are also able to share their personalized graphic through Facebook or Pinterest, helping to spread the word to friends.

A team of design-industry veterans judged nearly 800 entries and selected winning projects that demonstrated an ideal mix of concept, strategy and execution.

Entries were judged according to these criteria:

  • How well does the entry communicate?
  • How well does the entry achieve the client's mission?
  • How memorable or unique is the entry?
  • How strong is the entry aesthetically?

The Interactive Design Awards encompass all types of digital work, from websites and kiosks to games and apps. This year's winning projects were created by top teams including Firstborn, Second Story, Cartoon Network and Hello Design.

ePrize also received a Best In Class award from the Interactive Media Awards in 2012 for this project.

"This dynamic infographic we created for Cigna is a perfect example of how an organization can create innovative, informative content that consumers want to share with friends across social channels," said Matt Wise, CEO of ePrize. "ePrize is looking forward to continuing our work with Cigna in creating engaging, meaningful consumer experiences that encourage deep interaction with their brand."

Health Care Reform For YOU is live through early 2013.
