Peter Facinelli and Vitalie Taittinger to Open the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R) Red Carpet With a Champagne Taittinger Toast

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 23, 2013) -  Peter Facinelli, SAG Awards® ensemble nominee for "Nurse Jackie," will join Vitalie Taittinger, artistic director of Champagne Taittinger, to open the red carpet at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Jan. 27, executive producer and director Jeff Margolis announced today. The annual Champagne Taittinger toast marks the opening of the ceremony and will be Vitalie Taittinger's second appearance as Champagne Taittinger's Global Ambassador.

The SAG Awards ceremony will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT) from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. An encore presentation will air immediately following on TNT at 10 p.m. (ET) / 7 p.m. (PT).

Champagne Taittinger's Global Ambassador, Vitalie Taittinger, is the Champagne house's Artistic Director. A trained artist, Vitalie develops and enhances the image of Champagne Taittinger through its visual identity, design and strategic communications. The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, one of the awards season's premier events, will be simulcast live coast-to-coast on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT) from the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. An encore primetime telecast will begin immediately following on TNT at 10 p.m. (ET)/7 p.m. (PT). The ceremony will also be telecast internationally, as well as to U.S. military installations overseas through the American Forces Network Broadcast Center.

Recipients of the honors for Outstanding Action Performances by Film and Television Stunt Ensembles will be announced at 6:15 p.m. (ET)/3:15 p.m. (PT) during the red carpet pre-show webcast on tntdrama.com, tbs.com and People.com which begins at 6 p.m. (ET)/3 p.m. (PT).
