Kepware realized an increase of 20 percent year over year growth in the Oil and Gas industry in 2012. This growth is attributed to marketing and business development efforts surrounding new, industry-specific communications solutions for the upstream, midstream, and downstream markets. These new solutions from Kepware include Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) capabilities -- including drivers for ABB TotalFlow devices, Fisher ROC and ROC Plus, Enron Modbus, and OMNI Flow Computers. In addition, new EFM exporters were created for Flow-Cal, PGAS, and user-configurable CSV files. The company also delivered WITS Level 0 drivers for the drilling automation industry, as well as new COM port offerings to enhance sharing ability for serial-based drivers.

Kepware strengthened its international commitments across Brazil, Italy, Spain and Southeast Asia, by establishing new preferred distributor partnerships with Exata Sistemas de Automação, EFA Automazione, Logitek, and Allied Solutions, respectively. Plans for 2013 international growth are focused on China, Japan, Australia, and Germany. To meet these goals, Kepware is adding additional international resources and offering a hands-on training program in regions such as Asia and Europe.
