Oslo, Norway (February 1, 2013) - Spectrum is mobilizing for the acquisition of a 7,500 km 2D Multi-Client seismic survey in the Pelotas basin offshore Brazil in anticipation of future licensing rounds.
The Pelotas basin is a frontier area with little seismic coverage. The survey will tie in to the extensive 2D seismic coverage in neighboring Uruguay that Spectrum markets to the industry.
Spectrum provides innovative Multi-Client seismic surveys and high-quality seismic imaging services to the global oil and gas industry from offices in Norway, the UK, US, Brazil, China, Egypt, Australia, Indonesia and Singapore.
Spectrum's Multi-Client strategy focuses on both the major, established hydrocarbon-producing regions of the world as well as key frontier areas identified by an experienced team of geoscientists. The Spectrum library of Multi-Client data has projects from many of the foremost oil producing regions of the world. These include new acquisition, reprocessing and interpretation reports.
