SoFit Combines Fitness Goals With Life Fitness Machines and the Augie's Quest Goal to Cure ALS

TORONTO, Feb. 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterAmerican Gaming Inc. ("IAG" or "the Company"), (Pink Sheets:IAGM), the company behind SoFit, a new social gaming platform for the health and fitness industry, which uses social networks, real-world rewards, and fitness and charity partners to motivate users to stay active year round, has announced today an alliance with Life Fitness, a leader in the integration of fitness and technology.

"Tens of thousands Life Fitness cardio products will have SoFit mobile app compatibility, giving users the ability to seamlessly track & record indoor workout activities earning them points, rewards and charity donations," said Anthony Morelli, Technology Product Manager for Life Fitness.

SoFit's newly added Challenges feature allows users to join in-app activities that reflect real-world charity events and fitness training efforts. Version 1.5, now live on the App Store - live on Google Play for Android users shortly – features the first SoFit sponsored charity Challenge.

Marc Askenasi, Founder & CEO, SoFit Mobile Inc., adds, "We are thrilled to be working closely with Life Fitness to bring their customers in the gym and at home a new way to have fun, and do good, with their physical activities. To help celebrate this partnership, we are donating $1 for every mile logged in the Augie's Quest to Cure ALS Challenge on SoFit up to $5000."

Life Fitness will be matching SoFit's donation in honor of the company's co-founder, Augie Nieto, and his quest to find a cure for ALS.

"Since my diagnosis of Lou Gehrig's disease in 2005, the fitness industry has supported Augie's Quest and helped raise over $35 million for ALS Research. I'm excited about the opportunity to partner with SoFit and help our supporters to participate in a new and unique way.  We have momentum in the lab and hope to have two clinical trials up and running in 2013.  With the support from SoFit and other industry partners, I'm confident we will succeed," said Augie Nieto, Founder of Life Fitness and Chief Inspiration Officer for MDA's Augie's Quest.

SoFit Version 2.0, scheduled for release in Spring/Summer 2013, will feature the live integration with thousands of Life Fitness Machines.
