IDS Solar Technologies Appoints New Head of Research and Development

LAKE ELSINORE, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 19, 2013) - IDS Solar Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: IDST) announces the appointment of Randy Sindelar as Vice President, Research and Development, charged with overseeing product strategy and development, and implementation of the Company's product roadmap and design optimization for all markets.

An authority in battery management and advanced material charging and energy storage, Sindelar most recently served as Senior Research Engineer at Flux Power, a leading developer of advanced energy storage solutions. As a development executive at ReliOn, Inc., he designed power conditioning and controls for fuel cell systems used as power backup for the telecom industry. While at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems he served on the development team for the Hellfire and Stinger missile systems for use on Predator aircraft.
