Hotels Provide Group Accommodations in Key Largo for MS Bike Ride in April

KEY LARGO, FL--(Marketwire - Feb 20, 2013) - On April 20 and 21, 2013, cyclists will hit the road to raise money in the fight against multiple sclerosis in this year's MS Bike Ride: Breakaway to Key Largo. The Courtyard Key Largo is proud to join in the effort as one of only three preferred Key Largo accommodations for the race, its participants and its supporters.

For two days, thousands of cyclists will travel up to 200 miles each in an effort to meet this year's fundraising goal of $2 million. Every participant is required to raise at least $400, and so far almost $90,000 has been raised. This year's race features new start and finish lines, an improved route and three options for riders to create their own journey: 50 Mile, Metric Plus or Century Route. In its 27^th year, the race will start at the Florida International University campus in Miami, stop overnight at the MS Village close to this hotel near the Key Largo fishing marina, and then travel back to FIU for the finale.

Voted Florida's best ride by bikers, the MS Bike Ride offers plenty of fun for the whole family, but the focus of the race is the fight against MS, a chronic disease that affects the central nervous system.
