CityEats Teams Up With The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions for SOBEWFF 2013

CityEats Expands Into Miami With Host of New Restaurants

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Feb 20, 2013) - CityEats, a new dining discovery and reservations platform by Food Network, today announced its expansion into Miami. To date, CityEats has partnered with over 25 of the city's finest local restaurants, including Pubbelly Sushi and Pubbelly Steak, The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions and Osteria Del Teatro. All these restaurants are now featured on the brand new CityEats Miami website, launched today in tandem with the start of this year's South Beach Wine & Food Festival, and many more will be added over the coming months.

"We're thrilled to start working with Miami's great chefs and restaurateurs," said Sameer Deen, President of CityEats. "CityEats will help these restaurants come to life online and reach a wider audience, while also reducing their reservation costs by as much as 40 percent."

To celebrate their launch in Miami, CityEats will be hosting a three-day event with modern American tavern The Federal in a custom-built lounge at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, February 22-24, 2013. The lounge will feature a custom cocktail, The Sassy Cuke (fresh cucumber, cilantro, celery shrub, tequila, triple sec), accompanied by Smoked Pork Loin, with Red Eye Gravy and Chili Dusted Cracklins.

"CityEats is dedicated to the discovery of great local dining experiences," said Peter Weingard, Vice President of Marketing, CityEats. "Available online or through our new iPhone app, CityEats is the one-stop destination for anyone who loves dining out."

CityEats already has a significant presence in a few major cities across the US including Washington, Philadelphia, New Orleans and Phoenix.

For restaurants, CityEats offers an affordable, efficient and convenient table management and reservation system. Using mobile and cloud-based technology, CityEats gives restaurants the freedom to manage their entire restaurant on an iPad, smartphone or laptop. These tools arm restaurants with real-time data that helps them streamline operations in new ways. And for a busy restaurant, CityEats.com also offers waitlist technology that can send a text message to alert diners to when their table is ready. Pair all of this with the backing of Food Network, a brand with proven consumer trust, and CityEats.com will transform the way restaurants interact with their diners in Philadelphia.
