Brampton Campaign Launch aims to change the public policy conversation on austerity


BRAMPTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 25, 2013) - On February 25, the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) will release a discussion paper calling for a changing of the public policy conversation on austerity to focus on good jobs, economic growth, and public services. The OFL also will announce the launch of a province-wide community consultation about the next Ontario Budget. The People's Budget campaign will be visiting nine cities over the next several weeks, inviting community groups and citizens to offer their ideas for a new approach to addressing the province's economic, social, and fiscal challenges.
