Energistics Elects Segun Oyebanji to Its Board of Directors


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2013) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Segun Oyebanji, General Manager of Technical Computing for Chevron Company and CIO of Energy Technology Company (a Chevron Subsidiary), has been elected to its Board of Directors. Oyebanji replaces Jim Green, CIO Downstream and Chemicals for Chevron, who steps down after four years of service.

On his election as a Board Member of Energistics, Oyebanji said, "My tenure at Chevron has well prepared me for this appointment. Although I know the Board will miss the contributions of Jim Green, I look forward to providing my own perspective."

He is accountable for the life cycle of petro-technical and engineering applications, data and information management systems, and high performance computing infrastructure for Chevron Operating Companies and ETC.
