Introducing Canadian MedicAlert Foundation's Newest Designer... 13-year-old Antonia Sinn!

For 3 years Antonia Sinn has worn a MedicAlert ID because of severe tree nut and fish allergies - but never expected to wear one that she designed herself! Since winning the MedicAlert Student Design Competition her design has been brought to life and is now available for everyone across Canada.

Appropriately titled Canadiana, the new sports band encompasses true Canadian spirit - depicting an array of colourful maple leaves. Sinn's design is now available for sale at MedicAlert.ca.

The MedicAlert Student Design Competition encouraged Canadian students to make school safety stylish by designing a new MedicAlert sports band.

"I entered the competition because I love to draw. Also because of my allergies, I know how important it is to wear a MedicAlert ID and be prepared for medical emergencies," says Markham, Ontario's Sinn. "I'm proud to have designed something that could help save the lives of other kids living with medical conditions. I hope my sports band design shows kids that MedicAlert IDs can be cool and that everyone can find a design they'll have fun wearing."
