ALPHARETTA, GA--(Marketwire - Mar 14, 2013) - The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the state's leading association dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of Georgia's technology industry, today announced Catavolt as one of its Top 10 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia. TAG will recognize this prestigious group at the 2013 Georgia Technology Summit (GTS) on March 20, 2013, at the Cobb Galleria Centre.
The "Top 10" most innovative technology companies are chosen from among TAG's "Top 40" 2013 list and were chosen based on a number of criteria, including: degree of innovation; scope and financial impact of innovation; likelihood of success; and promotion of Georgia's innovative efforts nationally and internationally.
"Catavolt is a truly innovative company that is helping position Georgia as a hub for mobile technology," said Tino Mantella, President & Chief Executive Officer of TAG. "TAG and the Georgia technology community are pleased to recognize Catavolt for their achievements, and are excited to see what's next for Catavolt."
This year's Top 10 Companies were selected from among over 90 applications submitted by companies from across Georgia. Catavolt's primary technology offering is Catavolt Extender, a cloud service that extends enterprise applications, data and content to mobile devices. Catavolt Extender allows organizations with complex legacy and modern back-end enterprise systems a cost-effective and agile method of enabling mobile knowledge workers with fully native applications.
"We are thrilled to be selected as one of TAG's Top 10 innovative technology companies for 2013," said George Mashini, Chief Executive Officer of Catavolt. "We're also very thankful that TAG and the local technology community are dedicating the time and resources to recognize area companies that are working to establish Georgia as a global mobile technology hub."
