Media Advisory: Community Members Gather in Mississauga for Budget Press Conference

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 20, 2013) - Communities across Canada are looking to the Federal Government to use this budget to help deal with a sluggish economic recovery, a stalling job market, stagnant wages, record high levels of household debt, inadequate employment insurance coverage, and a lack of retirement security - not more cuts to balance the books is the message from ordinary working people. Canadians expect their federal government to tackle REAL problems in the 2013 Federal Budget.

On Thursday, March 21st, Finance Minister Flaherty will deliver the Federal Budget. Following the delivery of the budget there will be a press conference where community leaders representing labour, retired workers, students and employees in the federal public sector will comment and address questions from the press about the budget and its likely impact on our community.
