Mitacs Thanks Government of Canada for $13M Budget Investment to Build a Globally-Competitive Workforce

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 21, 2013) - Mitacs commends the Government of Canada for new investments in skills training including $13M over two years for Mitacs Globalink, an international internship program.

This new funding will enable an expansion of Mitacs Globalink and provide international research internships in countries around the world to Canadian undergraduate students.

Mitacs Globalink was established in 2009 to bring top, international undergraduate students for summer research internships at universities across the country.
