Nikki Daruwala Joins Global Policy Solutions as Vice President for Programs and Operations


WASHINGTON, April 4, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nikki Daruwala joins Global Policy Solutions as vice president for programs and operations, where she will manage projects for clients working on issues of health, education and income security. She will also serve as deputy director of Leadership for Healthy Communities, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Daruwala is a seasoned financial sector professional and nonprofit executive, previously serving as executive director at DC Jobs with Justice, founder and director of the Socially Responsible Business Program at American Rights at Work, and as manager for advocacy and social policy at Calvert Investments.

With more than two decades of experience in the field of sustainability and corporate responsibility, she has served as chairperson of the Indigenous Rights Committee and Diversity Committee at the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, on the Shareholder Advisory and Policy Committee of the Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment, and on the board of Green America.
