codeREADr App Enables Dynamic, In-Store Pricing of Designer and Luxury Goods

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 10, 2013) - Skycore LLC, developers of codeREADr, the commercial barcode scanning app and Web platform, has today announced adding Scan for Price tools enabling merchants to dynamically provide pricing, display relevant content and collect item-level feedback directly from in-store shoppers in real-time.

A core benefit of the technology is simplicity as the only content required is a database of IDs and associated text.

Merchants tag items with QR codes and provide shoppers with the codeREADr app installed on iPods or tablets. When a shopper scans an item, the app checks the associated database stored on codeREADr's servers and displays the information specific to that item.

"Merchants selling designer or luxury goods sometimes choose not to put price tags on their goods. Store associates instead advise each shopper on a one-to-one basis.
