ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 17, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives from NewLife Homes and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) as they celebrate the official groundbreaking on the Sundowner Uhuru, an apartment complex in Albuquerque for the homeless and individuals suffering from mental illness.
The project, which was awarded a 500,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant by FHLB Dallas, will result in 71 studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments that will serve a mix of very low-income residents, as well as provide some market rate apartments, and also target female veterans and their families.
