LAS VEGAS, NV and ELKO, NV--(Marketwired - May 8, 2013) -   Nevada gold exploration and development company, Klondex Mines Ltd. (OTCQX: KLNDF) (TSX: KDX), will have its President and CEO, Paul Huet detail the Company's development and production plans at The MoneyShow in Las Vegas on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 2:15 pm MDT. Klondex is making excellent progress towards starting small-scale gold production from its fully-permitted bulk sample in Q3 2013 at its Fire Creek gold project in north-central Nevada. At the presentation, Mr. Huet will outline the Company's future plans in addition to the progress over the past eight months under the new board of directors and management team; notably, Klondex welcomed co-founder and former EVP and General Counsel of IAMGOLD Larry Phillips, as Chairman, effective April 1, 2013.

Mr. Huet, with over 26 years of narrow vein mining experience and over 13 years of Nevada gold mining, previously operated Newmont's Midas gold mine and built the Great Basin Gold Hollister mine. Both mines along with Fire Creek are hosted by epithermal vein gold mineralization, common of the Northern Nevada Rift gold trend.
