Government of Canada Lends Financial Support to Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune Ltd

FERME-NEUVE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 9, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, today announced that Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune Ltd has been granted financial assistance to improve the quality of its tourist accommodations.

"By helping fund this Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune project, the Government of Canada is contributing to regional development and local economic growth," said Minister Lebel.

Pourvoirie Club Fontbrune Ltd will use this funding from Canada Economic Development to update its accommodations. The project involves renovating the windows, roof and balcony and replacing the insulation and exterior siding on five cottages as well as building a new refuge-style dwelling.

The initiative is part of the growth strategy the company has put in place to better meet customer needs and international standards.

"Our government remains focused on four priorities, as outlined by the Prime Minister, that Canadians care most about: their families, the safety of our streets and communities, their pride in being a citizen of this country, and of course, their personal financial security," Minister Lebel concluded.

Information:

This assistance, granted in the form of an $85,000 repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Temporary Initiative for the Strengthening of Quebec's Forest Economies (TISQFE).
