Open Registration for the 2013 CandE Awards and Benchmarking Programme Begins; Participation Is Confidential and Complimentary for All U.K.-Based Employers
LONDON--(Marketwired - May 15, 2013) - The Candidate Experience Awards, a non-profit organisation focused on advancing the employment candidate experience, today announced open registration for its 2013 awards and benchmarking programme.
Designed to evaluate the job candidate experience companies offer through the recruitment cycle, the U.K. Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards enters its second year to honour those organisations that implement outstanding strategies to provide a consistent and positive experience, and identify areas where typical recruiting practices fall short of candidates' expectations. Companies that recruit in the British marketplace can begin the confidential and complimentary registration process at: http://bit.ly/12xMpje.
"The Candidate Experience Awards is pleased to announce the 2013 U.K.-based programme and to recognise companies that provide stellar candidate experiences, gaining a competitive advantage in a market where skills shortages are the norm," said Jeremy Tipper, partner at Talent Collective and member of the Talent Board, founding organisation of The Candidate Experience Awards. "We're also excited to continue our journey towards helping organisations better understand how current talent acquisition processes and technology trends can impact their employment brands and better meet expectations for candidate care."
The competition consists of three survey rounds designed to recognise organisations that produce outstanding candidate experiences. Round One is a multi-dimensional survey designed to capture and evaluate the nominated company's recruitment processes and practises impacting the candidate experience. Initial registration is now open for companies that are headquartered in the U.K.
Companies that complete the first round process will receive access to Employer Benchmark data. Those that meet the standard for candidate experience will be invited to participate in the second round, where a random sampling of the company's 2013 job candidates will be surveyed. Companies that meet criteria for both rounds will be recognised as CandE Award winners. High scoring companies will be advanced to the final round and interviewed by the CandE Awards judging panel to determine areas of distinction. With Distinction honourees will be celebrated, along with all CandE Award winners, at a special awards ceremony later this year.
Bethan Davies, International Talent Acquisition manager for 2012 CandE Award winner Risk Management Solutions (RMS), said, "To receive the Candidate Experience Award was an absolute honour. Our goal is simple: to treat others as we expect to be treated -- with respect, and open and timely communication."
"Candidate Experience 2012, United Kingdom," a white paper based on data collected during the 2012 CandE Awards programme, provides insight on social recruiting expectations, reveals job seekers' habits as they relate to sharing experiences over various media and delivers awareness around referral programs, while uncovering that employers are missing the opportunity to collect meaningful feedback from candidates at various stages in the process. The white paper is currently available for complimentary download to anyone who is interested in learning more about candidate experience best practises and trends: http://ukcandes.org/2012-results-request/.
