Vista Revenue Increases 45%, Project Components Ready for Delivery


DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - May 15, 2013) -  Vista International Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: VVIT), a pioneer in efficient Waste-to-Energy technology, is pleased to give investors an update on recent revenue generated by the Company, as well as an update on the Company's pilot Waste-to-Energy project. 

For the month of April, 2013 the Company saw revenues increase by roughly 45% over April 2012, topping $63,000. The increase was mainly due to increased sales of processed tire material at the Company's tire processing facility in Hutchins, Texas, as the Company added a new customer for the processed material, while increasing shipments to its existing clients. The company has had a strong start to May as well, and expects continued strength well into the seasonally strong summer months.

In March of 2013, the company began construction of a pilot waste-to-energy facility located in the northeastern US. The company has received the first two tranches of funding for the project, and construction is running on schedule. The company will being shipping certain assembled project components to the project site as early as next week. 

CEO Tim Ruddy commented on the news. "The strong revenue at the Hutchins facility has been a significant positive for the Company in the opening months of 2013, and has allowed us to focus our efforts on the construction and installation of our first 3rd generation Thermal Gasifier unit. As news of our project has circulated, we have seen requests from various groups on three different continents for more information on, and demonstrations of, our technology."
