TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - May 22, 2013) - Energy Income Fund (TSX:ENI.UN) (the "Fund"), today announced the appointment of Vestcap Investment Management Inc. ("Vestcap") as investment manager of the Fund effective August 22, 2013, replacing Galileo Global Equity Advisors Inc.

Founded in 1988, Vestcap is a Toronto-based portfolio management firm whose principals have extensive experience in managing both equity and fixed income portfolios as well as investing in energy related securities. No changes to the Fund's investment objectives or strategies are anticipated.
