Pulse Seismic Inc.: Voting Results at Shareholders' Annual and Special Meeting and Appointment of New Chair

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 23, 2013) - Pulse Seismic Inc. (TSX:PSD)(OTCQX:PLSDF) ("Pulse" or the "Company") has released the results of the votes at its May 22, 2013 annual and special shareholders meeting.

Each of the nominee directors listed in the Company's management proxy circular dated April 12, 2013 was elected as a director, with a vote being conducted by ballot:

Pulse also announces that the renewal of its Shareholder Rights Plan and the adoption of its Advance Notice Bylaw were also approved by the shareholders.

APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR

The Board of Directors announces that Mr. Robert Robotti has been appointed Chair of the Board of Pulse. Mr. Robotti has been an independent director of the Company since 2007. Mr. Robotti succeeds Mr. Graham Weir who has stepped down from the position after 5-1/2 years. Mr. Weir remains an independent director of the Company.
