Zodiac Aerospace to purchase La Jonchère
This acquisition will allow the Group to strengthen its Fluid Management activities
Plaisir, June 5, 2013 - Zodiac Aerospace has signed a final contract in order to acquire La Jonchère, a French company dedicated to ducts and flexible joints.
La Jonchère employs around 115 people on its site located in Compiègne (France) and reported sales of €28m in 2012.
This company will complement the expertise of the Fluid Management division of the Group (Aircraft Systems Segment) in the field of ducts and joints. The flexible joints (Ball Joints, Nano Ball Joints and Nano Gimbals) designed and manufactured by La Jonchère are equipping numerous engines for the commercial aircraft industry, and they benefit from a patented technology.
