The Celesio management board is complete again: Martin Fisher appointed COO


Stuttgart, 6 June 2013. The Celesio AG supervisory board has appointed
Martin Fisher (53) to the management board, which he will join by 1st
October 2013 the latest. In his most recent role Fisher was Head of Global
Supply Chain at Arysta Lifescience. Fisher will run Celesio's Operations
divisions comprising the group-wide responsibility for procurement, supply
chain management, quality management and regulations, as well as IT.

Celesio CEO Markus Pinger: 'We are very happy that Martin Fisher will
complete the Celesio management board. Martin Fisher has many years of
international experience in global supply chain management. The further
development of our logistics, procurement and IT activities is a vital
success factor in the integration of our retail and wholesale activities
and the creation of a completely integrated end-to-end business model. 
This is the core of our strategic realignment.'

After completing his degree in the UK, British-born Martin Fisher worked at
several international companies such as Benckiser and Coty in leading
positions in the area of operations/supply chain/logistics. Prior to
joining Dairy Crest Group PLC in 2007 in the function of Group Operations
Director, he was Senior Vice President Supply, Developing Markets at
Reckitt Benckiser PLC from 2000. In 2009, Martin Fisher was appointed
Global Head, Supply Chain at Arysta.
