Oil-Dri's Retail and Wholesale Products Group Announces Price Increase for Clay Floor Absorbents

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Jun 10, 2013) - Oil-Dri Corporation of America (NYSE: ODC) announced today that it is implementing a 6% price increase for clay floor absorbent products to its janitorial supply customer base effective August 1, 2013. The price increase is the result of rising costs of mining and manufacturing, freight, healthcare and regulatory compliance.

Oil-Dri® clay absorbents undergo a superior moisture extraction process that increases absorption power and minimizes dust. Granular Clay Absorbents are available in both the traditional coarse formula as well as the finer QuickSorb™ grind. Both are made from the same high quality absorbent minerals and can be used on oils, coolants, grease, water and other liquid spills. Proper use of these products can reduce slipping accidents, prevent flash oil fires and keep floors clean and dry. Additional product information is available at www.oildri.net.
