SPRING LAKE, NJ--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2013) - Spring Lake Dental Care has announced that their New Jersey cosmetic dentist, Dr. Peter Ciampi, was recently named a 2013 "Top Dentist" in New Jersey Monthly magazine. Having over 20 years of experience in restorative, preventative, and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Ciampi's award is evidence of his commitment to providing high-quality advanced dentistry for his patients.

Each year, New Jersey Magazine commissions an independent study of the state's licensed dental providers to determine the top practitioners in the field. Surveys are sent out to any licensed dentist who has been working in the field for at least five years, and those who take the survey are asked which providers they would recommend to their own friends and family. After nominations are gathered, the top nominees are reviewed by an advisory board. A committee then tallies the votes and surveys the credentials of the nominees in order to choose New Jersey's "Top Dentists" for that year.

Dr. Ciampi says it is an honor to be recognized by his colleagues. He is happy that his peers are taking note of his efforts, commitment, credentials, and the successful clinical outcomes of the treatments he provides. His hope is that the award will reinforce to the dentistry patients of Spring Lake Dental Center that they are receiving the highest level of care and benefiting from the latest technology the field has to offer.

To continue the positive momentum of this acknowledgement, the New Jersey dentist says he will remain committed to his continuing dental education and use his position as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine to serve as a role model for future practitioners of the field. Additionally, he plans to continue his service with the Remote Area Medical volunteer core to give back to the community.

Dr. Ciampi is also hard at work on pursuing the highest recognition the Academy of General Dentistry has to offer -- the Lifetime Leadership Service Recognition. He aims to achieve this distinction within the next two years, a distinction that will also recognize Dr. Ciampi's extensive volunteer work.

In regard to his practice, Dr. Ciampi is committed to keeping Spring Lake Dental Center equipped with the latest in technology available to dentists.
