Rex-Cut Introduces Cotton Fiber, Unitized, and Rubber Mounted Points

FALL RIVER, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 18, 2013) - Rex-Cut Abrasives has introduced a full line of mounted points offered in cotton fiber, unitized, and rubber constructions for manual and robotic applications. They are available in most ANSI shapes and sizes.

Rex-Cut® Mounted Points are available made from cotton fiber, unitized, and rubber for all types of deburring, blending, and polishing applications. Cotton fiber points constantly reveal fresh abrasives as they work and can debur and finish in one-step; unitized points are softer and more resilient than cotton for in-hole polishing and touching up decorative finishes; and rubber points are well suited for very light deburring and surface cleaning.

Each style of Rex-Cut® Mounted Points is offered in several configurations. Cotton Fiber mounted points and Megabrite Unitized are available with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives and different bonds while the Rubber Mounted Points are made with an aluminum oxide grain and calendar synthetic rubber which has a high tensile strength and is tear resistant. They all come in industry standard A, B, and W shapes.

Rex-Cut® Mounted Points are priced according to type and quantity. Pricing and samples are available upon request.
