Verimatrix Expands Technical Training Program to Accommodate Significant Enrollment Growth From Partners and Customers

Now Featuring Ten Courses, Verimatrix University Hits Milestone of More Than 1,000 Online Registrations Since Launch

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 27, 2013) - Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, today announced that it has expanded its Verimatrix University technical training program to include ten unique online courses on core product lines (VCAS™ for IPTV, VCAS™ for DVB and VCAS™ for Internet TV), client security solutions for developers and project planning. These online courses, which have surpassed 1,000 registrants, are the prerequisite for all hands-on training sessions that culminates in formal proficiency certification.

A technical training program aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of customer and partner teams using the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS™) solutions, Verimatrix University features a unique combination of theoretical and practical training designed to help Verimatrix customers, technology partners/vendors, system integrators and resellers optimize the configuration, installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the VCAS product components.

The Verimatrix University technical training program consists of a series of related courses that are optimized to provide students with the knowledge required to install, operate and troubleshoot the VCAS solutions, including multi-network or hybrid network configurations. Programs feature a self-paced online training approach followed by rigorous classroom hands-on sessions. These elements, together with exams to check progress, enable graduation as a Verimatrix Certified Engineer.

Since launching in July 2012, Verimatrix University boasts nearly 500 individual students who are currently enrolled in a training course. In addition, nearly 175 engineers have achieved certification as a "Verimatrix Certified Engineer" and 25 partners are designated as "Verimatrix Certified Partners."
