Computer-Based Format for Global Sustainability Assessment System Test Removes Geographic Boundaries


DOHA, Qatar, July 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As part of its mission to promote the education and training in sustainability practices, the Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) will deliver the Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS), conveniently and securely over Internet-based format, in collaboration with Prometric Inc., a trusted provider of market-leading test development and delivery solutions.
 
Candidates can conveniently register and schedule their Internet-based exams online, available on the GORD website.

The multi-year agreement between GORD and Prometric provides candidates with flexibility, a fair testing experience, eliminates geographic boundaries and is on par with the highest international standards.

Aimed at individuals with backgrounds in architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering and sciences disciplines the Global Sustainability Assessment System – Certified Green Professionals (GSAS-CGP) program is an ideal platform for professionals to share experiences, exchange thoughts and learn how GSAS can be implemented and applied in projects of different typologies and scales.

Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS), formerly known as Qatar Sustainability Assessment System (QSAS), is the most comprehensive sustainability rating system for the built environment in the world.  The all-inclusive offerings of the system supports in assessing all types of developments starting from macro level such as master plans for cities to micro-level, such as single buildings.  GSAS aims to promote sustainable practices within the framework of a globalized society.
