Stifel Enters Into Strategic Relationship With Carlyle GMS Finance


ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2013) - Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF) today announced that it has entered into a strategic relationship whereby Stifel and Carlyle GMS Finance, Inc., a business development company focused on senior debt investment in middle-market companies recently formed by affiliates of The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG), will mutually refer middle-market opportunities to each other. As part of the strategic relationship, Stifel has made an investment in Carlyle GMS Finance.
