IAS Updates ChassisManager to Improve Day-to-Day Execution of Chassis Rental Management

Workshops Give Hands-On Training With IAS and HRCP Experts

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 8, 2013) - International Asset Systems® (IAS), provider of cloud and integrated technologies that connect intermodal trading partners to enhance visibility, optimization and collaboration, announces the newest version of ChassisManager. The product update offers improvements in data and invoice quality as well as with the dispute, adjustment, and payment processes. IAS also provided additional tools for account management and streamlined the Trip Viewer, which details chassis rental activity.

"The latest product update significantly improves IAS ChassisManager and is the result of direct feedback from customers and users of the service," said Steve Dowse, Chief Technology Officer at IAS. "In our best practices event next week, we will be showing registered ChassisManager users the new features and the most efficient ways to improve cash flow, gain more accurate billing, and tighten their control over chassis rentals."

IAS and ChassisManager customer Hampton Roads Chassis Pool (HRCP) are hosting a three-day event to share best practices, which will explain how to leverage new features, enable customers to use the system to its fullest capabilities, and ultimately ensure that the user community derives the maximum value from the solution. Event participants will walk away with advanced knowledge of ChassisManager having completed the interactive training while working with their own live data. As an example, in the view creation lesson, participants will learn to customize the user interface to build a custom view that is saved to their account. This view can be called up at any time to quickly show chassis on-hires and access the information necessary to manage billing and asset management processes.

The workshops will include classroom demonstrations, hands-on training, and Q&A with instructors from both IAS and HRCP. Sessions will take place July 10th-12th at Infotec IT & Leadership Training Headquarters located at 100 Constitution Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. Those interested in attending should contact IAS at chassis@interasset.com in order to register for the event.

"We are very excited about the changes we have made to ChassisManager and the value that users will receive from these workshops, which will cover both accounting and operational chassis rental activity," added John Allen, Senior Vice President of Client Services at IAS. "Attendees will learn how to monitor chassis usage, manage chassis rental charges, dispute inaccurate billable events, and review invoices -- all invaluable functionality offered by IAS ChassisManager."
