Energistics Elects Gerry Wolf to Board of Directors

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2013) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas standards consortium, announced today that Gerard (Gerry) Wolf, Upstream Technical Computing Manager, ExxonMobil Information Technology has been elected to its Board of Directors.

Gerry Wolf has been with ExxonMobil for 29 years and has held numerous technical computing, geoscience support, and business IT positions as well as serving in planning and advisor roles. In his current role, he manages oversight of the Upstream Technical Computing Department activities including geoscience and engineering application support, data management and application development.

On his election as a Board Member of Energistics, Gerry Wolf said, "I am delighted to join the Energistics board, and greatly look forward to putting my business experience and technology background to work for the standards community."

Gerry has an M.S. Degree in Geology from Wichita State University and a B.S. Degree in Geology and Computer Science from Juniata College.
