Northern Educate Sports Academy Adds More Locations and Athletic Programs

Sports Development School Adds Figure Skating, Lacrosse and Soccer Programs; and Opens Additional Locations in Blaine, Eden Prairie and Vadnais Heights

EAGAN, MN--(Marketwired - Jul 9, 2013) -  Northern Educate Sports Academy announced today that it is expanding operations to add three additional athletic programs and opening three new school locations. The sports development school has grown from a handful of students when it opened in 2011, to nearly 100 in the 2012-2013 school year and expects more than 350 students when the doors open for the 2013-2014 school year in September.

The growth of the Eagan school and demand for the combination of education and sports development is the reason behind Northern Educate's decision to open additional locations in Blaine, Eden Prairie and Vadnais Heights. Requests for program expansion beyond hockey have lead Northern Educate to offer sports development programs for soccer, lacrosse and figure skating, effective for the 2013-2014 school year.

Academically, Northern Educate Sports Academy offers individualized curriculum, challenging each student while working at their own pace to help them learn to the best of their ability. Because the student-to-teacher ratio is no more than 6:1, instructors are able to provide one-on-one help on a daily basis to ensure students are progressing on par and with acceptable grades.

"Every student is unique and learns at a different pace," said Dr. Shawn Black, founder and president of Northern Educate Sports Academy. "Our goal is to help each child excel in their studies and we provide the one-on-one attention they need in order to do so. We work with each child to ensure they achieve their full potential whether it's in their school work or on the ice or field."

Northern Educate Sports Academy is designed for boys and girls grades K-12 and at this time has sports development programs for hockey, figure skating, soccer and lacrosse. For more information visit www.northerneducate.com.
