Enterprise Networking and Security Specialist to Expand EMEA Growth in the UK, Germany, Russia and Middle East
SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 15, 2013) - RedSeal Networks, the leader in network infrastructure security management, today announced Duncan Fisken has joined the company as Senior Vice President and General Manager for EMEA. In this role, Fisken will expand the company's market reach by managing the sales, business development, channel and marketing activities in the region.
Fisken is a seasoned veteran in technology and growing businesses in EMEA markets. With more than 40 years in the computer software and information technology industries, Fisken specializes in enterprise networking and security. Prior to joining RedSeal Networks, Fisken served as Vice President EMEA for both Fluke Networks and Aruba Networks. Before that he served as Vice President EMEA Sales for CA's Identity and Access Management Business. He also served as the security sector specialist advisor for UK Trade and Investment, and was a founding director of the Security Innovation Technology Consortium.
"RedSeal Networks is a hot company solving an interesting problem. The vast majority of security breaches can be prevented with basic controls already owned by most organizations. Unfortunately, most organizations are blind to basic gaps in their controls due to the overwhelming complexity of overlapping network and security infrastructure. RedSeal finds these gaps, giving security teams the intelligence they need to systematically reduce risk," said Duncan Fisken, Senior Vice President and General Manager for EMEA at RedSeal Networks. "When I first took a look at the technology I knew immediately this was going to be the next big thing in network security."
During his 23 years in Asia, Fisken also served as Board Director of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, member of the Singapore National Productivity and Quality Council and President of the British Business Association of Singapore.
"We provide a unique technology that allows organizations to visualize their legacy networks, pinpoint weaknesses to prevent cybersecurity breaches within them, and understand their next generation networks to build them the first time-securely," said Parveen Jain, CEO of RedSeal Networks. "Duncan's experience will provide the leadership for RedSeal to extend its market share as a leader in network infrastructure security management."
