VMware Divests Zimbra


PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 15, 2013) - VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW), the global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure, today announced it has sold its Zimbra assets to Telligent. This sale marks the completion of VMware's divestitures associated with realignment actions announced previously on Jan. 28, 2013. The financial impact of this divestiture is immaterial and was already included in previously issued guidance for 2013. VMware remains focused on its three strategic growth priorities: software-defined data center, hybrid cloud and end-user computing.
