The Industry's Finest Oil and Gas Exploration and Resource Players Convene for a Day of Prospecting and Networking


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 16, 2013) - Oil and gas buyers, capital providers and explorationists will be in Dallas Thursday at the Hilton Anatole looking over the industry's latest oil and gas offerings. On tap for buyers are projects, prospects and properties in some of the hottest oil and gas plays including the Mississippi Lime, Eagle Ford, Eaglebine, Wolfcamp, Permian, Marcellus, Utica, Niobrara and Uinta. Besides resource plays, PLS has also brought together sellers with conventional properties and prospects in the Gulf Coast, ArkLaTex, Rockies and Mid-Continent regions.

PLS also announces our speaker line up for Dallas Dealmakers "Energy Capital 101" with presentations by four upstream experts in the capital/finance space. Presentations will focus on identifying and accessing the right type of capital for various different kinds of companies and projects, including advice on how to effectively discuss potential projects with capital providers. The session will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and features BlueRock Energy Partners, Cathy Sliva, Managing Partner, TPH Partners, Curt Schaefer, Principal, Amegy Bank, Terry McCarter, Senior Vice President. There is also a breakout session on "Hedging 101", from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. with Coquest, Justin Joyce, Manager, Derivatives Marketing.

On a regional basis, opportunities being exhibited within the ArkLaTex region are concentrated in East Texas with Cameron Mineral Trusts offering James Lime/Haynesville acreage, Interactive Exploration Solutions showing 11 Woodbine opportunities, Pingo Exploration marketing a ready-to-drill Pettit/Rodessa/Travis Peak project. Also in East Texas, PLS is marketing a 12,000-net-acre package for a private seller and a Cotton Valley pipeline right-of-way for Lancer Resources, Range Resources is marketing two Glen Rose/Bossier prospects, Tatonka LLC is showing two multizone prospects and Woodstone Resources has a non-op drilling opportunities for sale.

Elsewhere in the ArkLaTex region, BlueRock Energy Capital II has HBP Brown Dense prospect on offer, Honcho Energy Operating is showing two Fayetteville prospects, and large northern Louisiana acreage positions are available from Weyerhaeuser and WhitMar Exploration.

Along the Texas Gulf Coast, drilling opportunities are available in Texas from Black Mountain Exploration (Eagle Ford), Calex Resources (Midcox/Wilcox), Cameron Mineral Trusts (James Lime/Travis Peak), Clear Creek Energy and EF Resources (Pearsall), Del Mar Exploration (Frio), Esenjay Petroleum (Wilcox, Frio and Hockley/Pettus), Manti Exploration (multizone), Texstar Energy (Navarro and Austin Chalk), Woodstone (Yegua/Cook Mountain and Vicksburg), XCXP Operating (Eagle Ford), Zaragoza Resources (Navarro/Olmos) and ZaZa Energy (Eagle Ford). PLS is also marketing Texas Gulf Coast producing properties for Evolution, Endeavor and Zaragoza, plus a Pearsall project with existing production for a private seller.

Elsewhere along the Gulf Coast, Cypress Production is offering a Camerina prospect in Cameron Parish, La., Lakeshore Petroleum has a ready-to-drill Wilcox opportunity for sale in Pointe Coupee Parish, La. and Weyerhaeuser has acreage targeting the Tuscaloosa and James Lime in Louisiana and the Black Warrior Basin in Mississippi. Additionally, PLS is marketing multi-state production and drilling potential for two private sellers and Tuscaloosa/Austin Chalk interests for a third.

Moving to the Mid-Continent, deals are being marketed by Amko Resources (non-op production in North Texas), Carrolton Mineral Partners (five Mississippi Lime acreage packages), Corvus LLC (Mississippi Lime and Woodford acreage), Cottonwood Natural Resources (three packages in Nebraska, Kansas and the Texas Panhandle), Del Mar (Cline drilling opportunity), EMH Resources (multizone Oklahoma prospect), Hoefle Geologic (Nebraska waterflood), Reeves Exploration (Arbuckle/Granite Wash acreage) and Stallings & Associates/Toco Energy (two Chappel prospects in North Texas).

Also offering Mid-Continent deals are, US Energy Development (Barnett and Caddo/Marble Falls prospects in North Texas), WhitMar (150,000 acres targeting the Des Moines in Nebraska) and multiple Mississippi Lime, Barnett and Woodford prospects on the market via PLS.

Permian packages are being offered by Bahlburg Exploration (two Strawn Reef prospects in New Mexico), Black Mountain (Grayburg drilling opportunities), Cameron Mineral Trusts (San Andres acreage), Carrolton (Cline/Mississippian minerals), Keystone Petroleum (Bone Spring and Wolfcamp prospects), Maverick Royalty (Ellenberger acreage), Rawhide Ranches (Avalon/Wolfcamp prospect), Porvenir Exploration (52,700 Olmos/Eagle Ford/Edwards Lime acres), Stallings & Associates/Toco Energy (Cline drilling opportunity). PLS is marketing three West Texas acreage packages and a Permian Basin drilling company.

Rockies deals for sale are from Black Mountain (two packages totaling 72,000 acres in the DJ Basin), DeJour Energy (drill-to-earn oil opportunity in the Piceance Basin), Dodson Exploration (three prospects in Wyoming), H Huffman & Co. (Las Animas Arch prospect in Colorado), Honcho (two Bakken/Three Forks opportunities in McKenzie Co., North Dakota), Phoenix Oil & Gas (operated and non-op acreage in southwest Wyoming), Preferred Oil & Gas Properties (28,000 net acres in the Niobrara/Codell), Titan Energy Resources (prospects in Utah's Uinta and Paradox Basins) and White Eagle Exploration (Niobrara/Greenhorn prospects). Additionally, PLS is offering two Montana positions totaling 55,000 acres.

In the Eastern and Appalachian regions, Avalanche LLC is offering Ohio Utica leases, US Energy Development is offering 60,000 Utica/Marcellus acres in southwest New York, and PLS is marketing Illinois Basin tar sands leasehold in western Kentucky and Marcellus producing properties with undeveloped potential in West Virginia.

On the West Coast, Phoenix is offering multiple large acreage positions with multizone potential in Nevada, and additional packages are available in the state from Stonegate Resources and Titan Energy Resources.
