USHCC Congratulates Ford for Earning 1st Place Ranking as the Most Trusted Brand in America

The index measures brand perception among the public, simultaneously tracking global corporations across multiple sectors. The accolade is a result of BrandIndex's survey of over 600,000 consumers nationwide, who were asked about their positive and negative perceptions of various American companies.

Ford's Focus model is driving the company's largest profit gains since 2000, with a reported US market share of 15.9%, Ford's success is also due in part to its decision to invest in advertising, with its most notable effort being its "And Is Better" TV commercials that successfully debuted this year to promote its Ford Focus and Ford Fusion models.
