LOS ANGELES, Aug. 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Outstanding Mothers' Gathering (OMG) a newly formed professional working mother's organization based in Los Angeles (LA), California (CA), is hosting their inaugural event on September 12, 2013, at the Olympic Collection. The event is dedicated to informing LA's professional working mothers about the educational options and considerations for their children from a practical and psychological perspective.
Entitled 'Educating Your Child In Los Angeles, CA - The Facts, The Options and What You Need To Know', the event will feature a panel of top experts in the educational arena. Some of the experts include Sandy Eiges; The LA School Scout™, Dr. Fay Van Der Kar Levinson, PhD, Psychologist and author of 'Choosing The Right School" and 'Secrets to School Success' and Emmy Award Winner and Los Angeles Times Best Seller JD Rothman 'The Neurotic Parents Guide to College Admissions', among others.

OMG is the brainchild of Erica Moore-Burton, Esq. who then collaborated with close friends and professional mothers Jennifer Cleare and Sarah Klinger-Manor. The three dynamic women come from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, and between them have five children ranging from 21 months to 14 years old. Collectively they saw a void in the marketplace for organizations dedicated to their specific needs, and they decided to unite professional mothers under the umbrella of a professional working mother's organization.
"As a mother of two boys, securing a college education for them is important, but creating a plan can be daunting. This issue is of such important that we decided to dedicate our first event to discussing education," said Jennifer Cleare, Executive Vice-President of OMG.
