Anders Karlsson - new CRO at Swedbank


Anders Karlsson has been appointed CRO of Swedbank. He succeeds Håkan Berg who
is moving to another role at the bank. Anders Karlsson was previously head of
risk at Swedbank Treasury and at Large Corporates & Institutions. He takes up
his position on 1 September 2013 and will be part of Swedbank's Group Executive
Committee.
Håkan Berg is moving to another role at the bank, mainly working with the
recovery and resolution project as well as remaining chairman of the bank's
operations in Russia.

At the same time, there will be a change in that Viveka Strangert, head of
Compliance, will report directly to the CEO, in accordance with new
requirements.
