Inphi to Unveil Latest iMB-Enabled LRDIMM Technology and DDR4 Register at Intel Developer Forum (IDF) 2013


SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 9, 2013) - Inphi Corporation (NYSE: IPHI), a leading provider of high-speed, mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets, today announced its participation at IDF 2013 to showcase its latest Isolation Memory Buffer (iMB ™) technology on Load Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs) and DDR4 Registers for next-generation data centers.

Visit Inphi's booth #162 to see two live demonstrations highlighting the company's latest advancements to boost data center performance and reliability, while maintaining compatibility with a host of critical applications. The first demo will showcase significant improvements in the memory bandwidth using 32GB iMB-enabled LRDIMMs on fully populated server systems using memory intensive system benchmarks.

The second demonstration highlights how Inphi is enabling the coming transition from DDR3 to DDR4 with a new generation of DDR4 registers and data buffers. Leading the industry on spec compliance, power efficiency and overall performance, Inphi-enabled DDR4 RDIMMs and LRDIMMs will allow users to run DDR4 up to 2400MT/s while consuming less power than DDR3-1866 modules of the same capacity.
