The report also highlights the accelerating adoption of SaaS and cloud-based financial solutions. Forrester further describes the shift from outdated on-premises applications to SaaS. Specifically, "SaaS differentiates newer offerings from traditional deployment models. As on-premises applications become outdated and difficult to maintain, SaaS becomes more attractive to firms seeking faster implementation, lower cost, and easier upgrades."
