SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 11, 2013) - Eleanor of El Cajon, Calif. is on "cloud nine" after winning the grand finale round of Barona Resort & Casino's $750,000 Free Slot Tournament Series. In addition to her first place $25,000 cash prize, Eleanor has won an all expenses paid trip to Las Vegas and a seat at the TournEvent of Champions, a nationwide slot tournament on September 25.
"I wake up each morning thinking I'm living in a dream," said Eleanor, a grandmother of four who was born in Jamaica and is happy to now call San Diego home. The $750,000 Free Slot Tournament Series was one of Barona's biggest promotions of the year so far. Eleanor joined thousands of other Club Barona members who were invited to play in the February, April and June tournaments where they had a chance to win a share of $50,000 in weekly prizes and $100,000 in grand finale prizes. She was one of 88 lucky players who advanced to the August finale and will now represent Barona at the TournEvent of Champions.
