SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2013) - vCom Solutions Inc., the pioneer of Telecom Management as a Solution (TMaaS™), today announced the appointment of Carina Hayek as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Ms. Hayek will be based in the company's San Ramon, Calif., headquarters.

In her role as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Ms. Hayek will implement strategic marketing initiatives designed to drive growth for vCom Solutions, a telecom management firm that helps the mid-enterprise business manage inventory, expenses and carrier relationships -- so they can achieve better business intelligence that drives profitability.

With more than 10 years of marketing and management experience in technology and telecom organizations, Ms. Hayek will be responsible for the direction of vCom's strategic marketing program. She will develop, manage and execute vCom's marketing and corporate communications, public relations, online engagement and strategic partnership and sponsorship initiatives.

Prior to joining vCom, Ms. Hayek was Director of Marketing at Quickcomm Inc., a global provider of telecom management solutions. In this role, her marketing initiatives helped increase Quickcomm's sales revenue by 53 percent following its acquisition by Vodafone, the multinational telecommunications giant.

Before that, she built marketing programs for OneWire Inc., an online career management tool for the financial services industry. Here, Ms. Hayek's strategic acquisition programs recruited 40,000 job seekers and 300 colleges and universities into the OneWire system in just nine months. Previously, she served as Director of Marketing for Control Point Solutions, a telecommunications expense management firm.

Ms. Hayek received her BA in English Literature from Cornell University and her MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
