NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI--(Marketwired - September 17, 2013) - John Squire, a proven executive with a track record of success in business and technology, has been named President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Amazing Charts.com, LLC, a leading developer of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. The appointment of Squire signals a new focus for Amazing Charts on cloud computing and data analytics to improve outcomes, guided by the tenets of usability and affordability that have underpinned the success of the company to date.

Squire brings to Amazing Charts more than 26 years of software industry experience, 12 of them in healthcare. Most recently, Squire was senior director of Alliances and Cloud Strategy for Microsoft's U.S. Health and Life Sciences Business Unit. At Microsoft, Squire was responsible for the partner ecosystem, including all major EHR/ EMR solutions and systems integrators. Squire has previous experience in management roles at IBM, Dassault Systems, Formation Systems, and Interleaf. He holds a BS in Physics and Computer Science from Ursinus College and an MBA from Harvard.
