WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 17, 2013) - Snipp Interactive Inc., Snipp Interactive Inc., an international provider of mobile marketing solutions listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VENTURE:SPN), announced today that Quantum rewards is leveraging its SnippCheck mobile receipt processing solution in a unique promotion with Walmart and EA Games for the new Madden Football Game for the Xbox 360.

The promotion, done in conjunction with mobile promotion agency Quantum Rewards, leverages Snipp's unique SnippCheck mobile receipt processing solution to validate the purchases on the receipts sent in to deliver rewards back to the consumers. SnippCheck affords consumers an entirely mobile workflow for rewards redemption, providing greater convenience and much faster turnaround times. At the same time, retailers and brands have infinite flexibility in structuring their promotions, and are able to deploy these programs faster and more cost-effectively.

According to Atul Sabharwal, CEO of Snipp, "We are pleased that our partner Quantum Rewards selected SnippCheck for this campaign. SnippCheck allows brands to easily tap into customers at the point of purchase without the need to set up any type of POS integration and makes purchase-related promotions so much easier for both brands/retailers and consumers. In the past, for a promotion like this, consumers would have to photocopy their receipts and send them in by mail - now they get their rewards back overnight. SnippCheck offers consumers greater convenience and speed, while providing retailers and brands with infinite flexibility and faster deployment at much more cost-effective price points."

"Snipp's mobile receipt validation capabilities opens up many new avenues for our Quantum clients to create in-store promotions," explained Jason Davis, executive vice president of Quantum Rewards. "The ability for our clients to create seasonal promotions featuring our Hollywood Movie Money ticket or other Quantum promotions is more cost efficient and retrieves valuable consumer information. For the customer, the convenience of receiving their rewards simply by using their mobile phone provides instant gratification, not to mention providing state-of-the-art technology right at the consumer's fingertips.

The campaign is currently live in Walmart stores and online and ends on September 18. Participating snack products include Campbell's® Chunky™ soup, SNICKERS® Brand 6.98 oz. bag or larger, Doritos® Nacho Cheese and Cool Ranch 11 oz. Flavored Tortilla Chips, and Pepsi Max® 12 pk.
