Avaya Canada today announced that the Lauzon Group, a family-run business comprised of four luxury automobile dealerships in the Laval, Quebec area, is enhancing customer services and lowering costs with the world-class telephony solution Avaya IP Office. 

Designed specifically for small and midsize business communications, Avaya IP Office empowers employees at the Audi, Porsche and two Volkswagen dealerships to quickly and easily connect and collaborate in real-time on almost any device, allowing them to serve their clients in the quickest, most efficient manner possible. 

Before the new Avaya solution was implemented by Avaya channel partner Innov-IT, each dealership operated their own local telephone system with a limited number of lines. Now, they have a highly functional, centralized communications system for all four locations. Avaya IP Office also gives all Lauzon Group employees the ability to check their voice messages through their email accounts, which is convenient for the dealerships' mobile work force.

Avaya IP Office also offers a number of other business benefits to the Lauzon Group, including:

  • Improved cost-efficiency, saving about $1,200 per month or nearly $14,400 per year
  • Increased mobility and flexibility with phone extensions that follow mobile employees both on and off-site

With all hard lines now eliminated, nearly 200 Avaya DECT R4 IP-based handsets provide the Lauzon Group's four dealerships with a highly functional wireless solution that can support a large number of users.
