Associates of Cairo Palace Hotel in Egypt Donate Blood in Support of Community

CAIRO, EGYPT--(Marketwired - Sep 25, 2013) - Recognizing the need to support members of the Egyptian community in a time of need, associates of the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino organized and hosted a blood drive Sept. 3-4, 2013. Embracing the deeply rooted "Spirit to Serve" values of Marriott International, associates not only organized and hosted the campaign in the conference center hotel's Memphis Salon, but many also participated by stepping forward to donate blood during the two-day event.

Collaborating with the Ministry of Health in organizing the drive, associates were also assisted by the Blood Bank of Egypt, which provided staffing and equipment required for smooth processing of donor information and professional collection.
